GTA 5 PS4 selling V. well on amazon. It will give PS4 a nice boost. As will Far Cry 4. Sony just need to win BF and Nov will be close.

Rumours presented in gaming forums are nothing that the general public are aware of. Particularly when what is really being presented are not rumours but theoritcal counter offers.  Sony fans hoping/expecting that Sony is going to present some deal to retailers which results in the PS4 being temporarily sold for say $50 off is not a rumour it is just speculation.

Ps4 has exclusives this holiday?? And they are?? Driveclub? Lol. Little big planet 3? Lulz. Better pray that GTA 5 bundle is real for black Friday or Microsoft dominates. Nobody is buying driveclub lol.

It's not exclusives driving Xbox One sales this holiday...it's the pricuts and free games. 

Joke post?   Driveclub outsold forza and lbp is a  bigger seller then either forza or sunset.  If you ignore the rest of the year,  and ignore Indies x1 might have more exclusives,  overall it does not.  Sony spread there releases,  Ms had, 9 months after Titan fall without a notable exclusive.  

So only fall games count?  What will you say in Feb when Sony has the order and bloodborne,  while ms had another drought? 2015 for ps4 is loaded.  

Xi us selling because of bundles and a price drop. People don't buy consoles for just exclusives,  in fact they never mattered less.

This x1 had more games narrative is nonsense and simply false.  

Poor Microsoft having to resort to giving away their console before anyone will buy it. Since free always beats money, no wonder it saw an increase this week.

Meanwhile Sony stays strong without cutting price or giving away games for free. That really shows just how bad it is for Xbox this gen.

What signal are you talking about? The PS4 is selling more so they are doing some adjustment, simple as that. 

And from where this 1% is coming? You are making a LOT of assumptions here, one them being that Microsoft is in trouble with the Xbox One and that success can only be to beat the PS4...

Anything they do to increase their marketshare is a good move (of course you can also assume that they are stupid and have no idea about what they are doing) but the past 6 months after the initial fiasco (mainly because it was priced 100$ more than the PS4) has been nothing but improvments from Microsoft.

And yes, I do believe that the only reason the PS4 is far ahead is because of the price. You can bring the DRM stuff in the discussion or Kinect or the console being less powerful than the other one. But the reality is the main consumers does NOT care about this. Only forums freaks and hard core gamers. Now for Mr. everybody who goes to Walmart and needs to buy a new console, both are branded as "next gen console" than can run new games plus some awesome exclusives; that's it. But then, Mr. everybody will look at the price... And guess what? One of the two very similar next gen console is 100$ less than the other... Boom.

So yah, cutting the price is a smart move before the holidays. I'm not saying it is going to completly reverse the situation but it will definitly help them to gain more than 1% of marketshare in the USA. Sadly, Europe is another story. 

Finally Microsoft may be rich but it is not that simple. Shareholders wants to see results and they are looking at very basic formulas.
And so far, looking at the results, Microsoft is doing very fine. And the negatives seems to be very well aligned with the postives looking at the last Q numbers :)

Nobody is buying forza then either considering DC outsold it.  Lbp lowest meta is 91. First one sold 5 million.  Great game and a very good seller and targets a different demographic.  People keep ignoring lbp make me laugh. Lbp is a bigger name then sunset or forza. 

MS got caught with their pants down. It was supposed to be released this year with the MCC being the main launch title. Last generation if im not mistaken PS3 lost close to $200 on each console sold and burned all the cash made from PS1 and 2 iirc. You dont think MS is doing that do you? The PS survived. Both those pricecuts had to happen. Take the loss on the front end make it up on the back end. 

I also think the 360 hasnt been cut just to soften the blow of this generation leading up to it. 

Wow Sony already passed the cod bundle for the month with only the ac bundle left. It should pass it next week or the next. Going to be a huge month of sales once the black Friday bundle sales get released. If it's almost even now, black Friday will crush Xbox one sales with gta5 and last of us for only $399.
