Seems to be more issues on Live on X1 than there was on 360, a lot of users on the subreddit complaining about it being a pretty regular occurrence.
I like the idea that no one should talk about it because it happens less regularly than other services though

but Live has problems just like PSN as we can see people can't play COD on their Xone

Everything's been fine for me all morning on One and 360. Hope it gets resolved soon though!

Big game releases can put a strain on servers. I expect the next big thing a la Destiny and COD to have a similar effect on any side.

No, it gets talked about. But it generally gets fixed quickly so there is little discussion.
What happens more frequently is downtime in certain areas. This is the first time I haven't been able to log in at all since I got my X1 (day one).

As for people claiming nobody talks about it ive seen people on this site post about it a few times this year including dare.devil shark.
Though again, problem is usually solved quickly which keeps people from going in an uproar. Since being on XBL i dont think ive ever seen a complete outage other than once and that was tthe christmas of Call of Duty 4 if im remembering correctly, and i dont even think that was for that long.
