My theory is that, every 2 years, Nintendo remakes a Zelda game, but with each one it switches from console to portable, take a look

2011- 3DS remake of Ocarina of Time

2013- Wii U remake of Wind Waker

2015- 3DS remake of Majora's Mask

2017- Wii U remake of Twilight Princess

I hope you are right... a Majora's mask remake would be Epic beyond words... Thing is I dunno if I want it for 3DS or Wii U.... though I am more likely to play it on my 3DS
.. Who knows... it might be the game that sets up the NEW 3DS in North America (much like the Ocarina of Time remake did with the OG 3DS).
As for your theory... I feel you have some evidence to support it... But the sample size it too small still... Maybe Twilight Princess for Nintendo Fusion? We will see...

Not that I wouldn't lie if it were true but the theory is a bit light on evidence. Plus 2017 would be very late for a TP remake.
