The absurdity of the inference made based upon the video is truly tantamount to the low intellect of its creators. In the minds of no rational person are greetings considered harassment, let alone sexual harassment. Furthermore, if a man propositions a female for sex, it isn't sexual harassment merely because the female is not interested. There must be persistent, unwarranted proposals despite the objections of the victim.

That being said, not a single instance here qualifies as harassment, let alone sexual harassment.

This video pisses me off on so many levels. Saying hi is harassment? Since when? Oh but I bet if some guy looking like Chris Hemworth (Thor) approached her, it wouldn't be sexual harassment huh? Because she'll be welcoming it? Plz...

She is wearing skin tight jeans, don't care if they are black. Those are MADE to get attention from the opposite sex. A guy doesn't wear a muscle shirt if he don't want people to check out his muscles right? Everytime my homegirls don't want attention from guys they wear loose pants or sweats.

I admit the guy trying to follow her and the guy asking for her number is too much... but walking for 10 hours in NYC and you are bound to attract jerks. As a matter of fact, big ups to my fellow NYCers there wasn't more examples of guys REALLY harassing her like those two. Also, most far less attractive women would kill of this sort of attention.

And for the record NYC is a rude place to begin with and those guys were acting surprisingly nice. If a guy sees a good looking girl, especially on a rough day that would usually cheer the guy up (the nature of man ) and a guy saying your beautiful and wishing you a good day is just saying "thank you" and trying to return the favor. This is coming from a city where if you sneeze in public, NOBODY for BLOCKS would say "God Bless You", or where if I say hi to some random guy in the street they'll say "What you sayin hi to me for? I don't know you!" (happened to me NUMEROUS times)....

If a greeting is made specifically to the opposite sex, then it IS sexual harassment because the goal of the greeting is no longer to greet the woman kidnly, but to act as a doorway to sex.

2. We wear nice clothes because of pressure from our own sex Most women don't dress up for other men (aside from a date, partner etc), we do it because of the pressure by other women to look good.

this is totally unacceptable. such bullshit. really, how are people letting this pass? the title of the video says 10 hours of walking in NYC yet the video is only two minutes. fucking lies man.

I think it's just NYC... in the space of one weekend, I had two people approach me, and shout in my face:

1) "I HATE BEING BLACK"

and

2) "I fucking hate the British"

so i can't greet my cousins now? and trust me i have no intention of fucking my cousins, i'm not into incest at all

anyway on a serious note i'm guessing therefore that your overall point is that for a man to pursue sex is wrong

fair enough i personally disagree once the man keeps his behavior within certain boundaries

You know what my point was - if any of those guys in the video didn't greet men the same way, then they are comitting sexual harassment, because the greeting is simply a way for them to open with the opposite sex.
