Since the release of N3DS+LL the sales have definetly been positive. But I've notice some downplaying stating its not doing its job with YoY comparisons (In both Overall Year sales and YoY in weekly)

Since the release of N3DS+LL the sales have definetly been positive. But I've notice some downplaying stating its not doing its job with YoY comparisons (In both Overall Year sales and YoY in weekly) or other small notable rants.

This is what I dont understand...

1. The most popular SKU, The XL (Surprising I Know lol) has been constantly sold out and available in certain retailers for a day or two

2. The Drop from week 2 to week 3 for XL sku was very non existant and thats with stock problems.

3. Last Year #s were googd in the same weeks with First Pokemon ever, but 2013 holiday will be

Where exactly is the downplaying ?

Damn those smartphone casuals trying to take us down?

They won't make you think people handheld is going do die and struggle against smartphones

Because it is down year over year? I mean is that not a fact?

Nintendo simply can't hit their sales forecasts for the 3DS if they come up 1.5 million units down YoY in the Japanese market. 

I think you are just looking for nintendo hate. I haven't seen downplay, people just don't care about it.

Well, the only downplaying I have seen in about the 3ds sales is that its been down since 2013... And the only downplaying I have seen for the n3ds are just the 3ds owners that don't want one but I havnt really seen any downplaying for n3ds sales although I have been away for a week so maybe I missed it

I think sales have been incredible considering N3DS still doesn't have an exclusive title on the market...
