@ethomaz - i appreciate what you are doing here. last gen ps3's OS and network was definitely subpar to xbox's. this gen things have completely taken a complete 180. playstation has bested xbox in almost every possible way you could compare them AND has awesome new features like shareplay that moves gaming forward.

still,.. many want to believe ms is still the gold standard. it will take a while for everyone's opinions to change. haters will always hate.  ..but the facts do not lie. playstation really leads the pack these days.

You should realize that remote control without even minor input lag, goes against speed of light data transfer rules.  The fact that they've created this sytem, and it's been reported that the input lag is very minimal, is impressive.

Besides the obvious amazingly amazing, awesome, amazingballs features like Remote Play, Share Play and Playstation Now, I don't see the advantage over the competition I know of. Would anyone care to eloborate?

And indeed deserved sales, but if it truly was about OS features then the competition deserves more than they are currently doing now as well :)

Always like your topics ethomaz. Keep on informing people of the awesome features the PS4 has to offer. MY fav feature is remote play. I play PS4 games more on my vita then on my PS4, lol.

Agreed with the mods here, the attacks on etho are uncalled for. He makes some great and perfectly valid points in the OP, all of which I agree with

Having only used the PS4 for 15-20 hours, but not owning one, I can say that it seems to be normal. By that I mean it didn't seem fast or slow. As for the new features, they sound good if you have interest in them. But, like ANY feature, it only matters to those that use it. I myself would Never use a cellphone or handheld to play my console games. I have big hands and can't stand either for that purpose. But, I could see my kids loving it. At some point, I will get a PS4 and will probably laugh at these debates over how many seconds between a click and activation.

Well it has the best spec to back up the OS so it's definitely the best.

But people will hate reality they will insist to defend their own console no mater how bad their console is even the fact like this is logicaly true and an undenible.

hope people will understand especially the hater that there is no benefit hating PS4 :D
