there would be no other move if that happens imho. ms cant go desperate and cut 100 dollar more off, just to beat sony.

It could do. The weekly gap between them in the US is not so large that a price cut, several major bundles and some aggressive marketing couldn't sway things in their favor (at least in the short term).

I think it will be close. Microsoft might be able to take it if Sony doesn't respond. I think both platform holders will be happy with the sales.

If Sony does win again I'm not sure what Microsoft can do. They can maybe bundle in gold and create more bundles? That MCC bundle has to come to North America

Yes it will happen. Gamestop is already running a deal for ps4 that is better than the Xb1 price drop. Ps4 will win the month again. There is no sound logic that suggest Xb1 will win the month. Ps4 has everything going for it and the games and services people actually want. I'm sure it will be close but Xb1 will not win the month.

Their next move obviously will be to offer more services/deals for free and likely another price drop. Its what they need to even be competitive, their last price drop was not enough.

i still think halo:mcc will move some so,cod or ac bundles ;)

I'm pretty sure it will. Sony will probably start bundling games for free in November. Maybe LBP3 and Infamous.

If it does not then do what Sony cant do and that's keep getting cheaper. All of this is in the road map.

In what universe is an Xb1 in its current state more appealing than a Ps4? Even with the price drop alone of the Xb1 the chances to beat ps4 is slim. The trade in deal simply confirms it won't happen. It takes true delusion and blindness to the current trend to even think Xb1 has a chance to win the month.
