Cutting the price $50 and packing in a $60 game for free, effectively making it a "$289" console finally got XBone a staggering 2 places ahead of a regular PS4. Sony better move fast. Drop PS4 to $299 or it's d0med!

well, considering that the 'temporary' price cut last until January 3rd, there isn't exactly any rush to pick it up right now.

There are still people who are going to be waiting untill black friday to pick one up.

 

Anyways...If Sony doesn't do anything, then they are going to find themselves being seriously out done by Xbox in the US.  I think though, that even if they do something like a GTAV bundle, it still will not save them from 2nd place in Nov. NPD.

X1 just has too much going for it in Nov. to lose.

That's what I'm thinking. To be honest, its not surprising. The Xbox One has the games and the best online service going today. It might be more close to 3:1 actually when you think about all the great exclusives as well. Its unbelievable. Thank you Microsoft. We are humbled.

Forza 2 pack in for free didn't work. Titanfall release/Titanfall pack in for free didn't work. Multiple huge retailers (Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Frys, etc) making price cuts didn't work. Kinect removal didn't work. What makes you so sure this will work? Sure, XBone will sell some more, but I'm willing to bet that the best it can due is match PS4. XBone would have to almost double its own sales to do that (since PS4 routinely outsells it by almost 2:1, moreso in some months this year), and then do more to put it ahead of the PS4. This also assumes the PS4 does nothing (2:1 happened in many months when nothing special was going on, all the while XBone was getting all kinds of deals to help boost sales). The GTA bundle could definitely "save them" from 2nd place, considering that "nothing" has "saved them" from 2nd place all year, despite having to compete against multiple XBone deals/price cuts

Really? It sold out but the Titanfall bundle did not? I highly doubt that. They must have only made 2 bundles then.

I say lets wait for the NPD result, even if Xbox One win November, they will not get a chances on Holiday so it would be kind to let Xbox win one times a year Lol.
