After you activate Game and Watch Octopus final smash and win a game with it, 8 tentacles will extend from your Wii U that can connect to all compatible game controllers.

For the price of 8 controllers you can buy a PS4 or an Xbone just saying. I guess 7 controllers of choise and the gamepad. (all except the wii mote will do for smash.)

@temporary +10 for fantasy, would be awesome it if works that way.

Um...most people have the controllers they'll use laying around. That's the beauty of this. Between my Wii remotes, my WiiU controllers, and my GC controllers I'm easily set.
