PS3 and PS4 release. That'll give the PS3 a boost for sure, but it won't really give a huge boost to the PS4 this way.

Wow, even better than expected ! And that was the surprise supposed to sell ps4 in japan for Christmas like told Sony

So yakuza 0 + FF type 0 + bloodborne + dragon quest heroes + résident evil + dragon ball xenoverse + im sûre i forget one big game

Big months coming for ps4 in japan !

Why would this game boost PS3 after 8 years on the market?  It will give a boost to PS4 because the Japanese love limited edition consoles and Dragon Quest, and will see it as a good time to jump in, with MGSV and Persona 5 coming in the first half of next year as well

Its will give ps4 a big-huge boost since the bundle comes first on ps4 at Christmas

Smart idea. Compensating for a lack of a blockbuster during the holidays

Mayby, but Japan doesn't upgrade when they don't need to. We'll see how far they're willing to wait.

Well, They don't get new consoles as fast when the games are still available for the older ones.

Why not?  It didn't stop people upgrading for Titanfall, Watch Dogs or Destiny.  I doubt Japan is that different.  This bundle will convince a decent amount of people to upgrade
