Why would this game boost PS3 after 8 years on the market?  It will give a boost to PS4 because the Japanese love limited edition consoles and Dragon Quest, and will see it as a good time to jump in, with MGSV and Persona 5 coming in the first half of next year as well

Well, They don't get new consoles as fast when the games are still available for the older ones.
