Well the previous games aren't considered the best looking 7th gen games.

Honestly, Bloodborne looks like a 7th gen game with more polish. Kinda like MGS:GZ without the 60 fps.

Which is fine, I don't expect every 8th gen game to be a visual and technical masterpiece.

You cant be serious, this game would never run on old gen consoles. Bloodborne is one of the best looking next gen open world, from your point of view, every 8th gen  looks like a 7th gen game with more polish ,  if you think this open world is not next gen for , i dont know what is a next gen open world for you.

Yeah that was a funny comment. The game looks incredible. Not to mention the incredible atmosphere it provides. It is the game I am most interested in this gen by far.

No... no it's not better. 60FPS is basically the way to go on all game. And especially action games.

Possibly so. However....how many 60fps action games can you think of, off the top of your head? Because I'm having trouble really thinking of any.

I agree that maybe they're being lazy. However, unless we see some really good examples of 60fps action games, then their point is kind of hard to refute.

Go play Destiny, Last of Us, Uncharted 3, BF4, or MGS:GZ. Its a more capable machine than you think.

I repeat, "Bloodborne looks like a 7th gen game with more polish."

I think you dont understand because you only look visuals and not the whole techs used in the game

Except Infamous SS ( and even this game has not a physic as good as Bloodborne), there is no more impressive exclusive open world on next gen consoles than this one for now ( and Bloodborne use a lot of techs that old gen games like Destiny, TLOU, Uncharted 3, MGS GZ have not ), well there is not a lot

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

I guess he means opposed to 20fps. I mean it's not as if they could target 60fps with these visuals.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I think this gen fans are all about graphics and resolution so that's what companies push. The thing is they don't want to portray PS4 as a weak system so instead of just saying they are targeting 30 locked fps they invent all kinds of tricks to make them look like they care about the user experience. 30fps is more cinematic, it's better for action games, blablabla... yawn.

Haha, no, it´s not better.
Some people will defend this anyways.

Next thing you hear is that precision platformers are better at 30 FPS because they'll feel more visceral.

If they want to focus on other area's of graphical improvement then that's fine, but being lied to about why game is 30fps is not helping.

This is the Game of Thrones

even Sonic 06 didn't make that mistake

Kojima-san and Naughty god(they at least claimed U4 will run at 60fps though I heavily doubt that) our last beacon of hope.

And Nintendo; their games still typically run at 60fps.
Or did you mean on PS4?
