Tbone, you really should stop taking these posts so personally. I mean, he's just discussing facts here and he is discussing 3ds sales (which is part of the topic of this thread). He even said that N3DS sales are good...

I mean, you're not a Nintendo executive or a Nintendo employee, so why are you taking these comments about sales of Nintendo products so personally? There is nothing wrong about discussing whether or not 3DS will hit it's forecast for the FY and whether or not it will end up being down YOY.

Predictions for LT console sales:

PS4: 120M

XB1: 70M

WiiU: 14M

3DS: 60M

Vita: 13M

Because it's sales discussion.

Vita is (probably) going to be up YoY but it's still a dire situation to be in, and while I enjoy discussing the positives for the platform, there's going to be plenty of people who are going to want to discuss the negatives too.

Just like for WiiU. Just like for PS4. And just like for 3DS.

but not for the xb1

there is just nothing positive :D

lol, its baseline all year was 25k-30k, and its still there. But its only probably there because N3DS XL is a very hot item and its sold out. I mean most retailers had none in stock all week intill Saturday and then Sold out again on Sunday XD

Now we know why N3DS wont launch in the West (excluding Australia) this year. Japan needs all it can get :0

For N3DS 117k is low (last year 170k MH4 week 2) because there is a monster hunter effekt in those numbers, even god Eater 2 boosted vita to 90k, you are still forgeting the MH effect in your comment lol

Downplaying=Downplaying. If PS4 is up to 20k-25k in a week, then that particular week i say "its still way behind ps3 #s though, so these numbers dont mean much" im sure im downplaying the PS4.

Because it's down YoY in both cumulative totals (i.e. YTD) and down compared to the same week last year. It's doing well, but it's still down no matter how you look at it.

And the thing is, the PS4 downplaying will happen next year. It's happening in this very thread. But you're just taking the 3DS stuff to heart.

It's fine that you want to be ever-the-optimist about any Nintendo numbers. But you have to accept that other people don't have to be so optimistic and they've certainly got grounds to be if they want.
