I think MS treated the Japan launch as a symbolic launch rather than an actual one. There weren't any good options for MS when it came to Japan. Either you release the X1 in Japan only for it to fall in obscurity. Or you don't release it in Japan and come off as weak and non-universal.

Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

There's also no proof that it isn't, the only thing we do know is that it's routinely undertracked on VGC, and that even when Sony announces over 10m sold to customer, that's not enough for the site to update figures.  Now, I understand the reasoning behind IoI holding off (because he didn't know where to apply the numbers), but that doesn't make VGC's figures any more accurate.

Didn't think X1 would be sub-100k for the rest of the year, to be 17k under that is pretty poor. We already knew Japan 3DS numbers but they are still amazing.

I remember my prediction about...

DriverClub (PS4) will sell more than Forza 5 (Xbone) lifetime.

Well it is started pretty good... ~180k with US + UK.

Bloodborne is a systemseller, a true one. I follow Darks Souls 2 streams on Twitch and videos on Youtube and it's full of PC elitists who are complaining about it being exclusive and how they will be buying a PS4 for it. They don't like doing that though lol! Funny to watch the power of a good exclusive game.

I know this is the hardware thread...but those Driveclub US software sales are suspect. 145k FW compared to Forza Horizon 2's 100k seems wrong somehow.

He recently said that he was happy with his numbers for August 9th and feels he doesn't need to adjust them up. Not sure where I read that. I'm not saying VGC isn't under tracking and I wouldn't be surprised at all if PS4 is under tracked by more. For once, however, I am not expecting it to be more under.

That's just the power of the PS4 for ya. Also X1 had a racer last year already. This is PS4's first exclusive racer.

You can't generalize because you here some people saying they will buy a console for a game i don't say it's imposible but i doubt it
