Sorry but that not going to happen. Xbox one is much stronger than Wii U in the US and everyone know the majority of the sales in december comes from US. |
Even no.
December is a Nintendo Month, and November MS month.
XO will outsell Wii U for all week of November, but by 6 December 2013, Wii U will back abov XBOX ONE for looooooooooooong time...
Also, who will resaled for XBOX ONE on December? Wii U will have Smash in the Europe and Japan, XO nothing...

Sorry but you haven't been paying attention to the sales of the Wii U for the last holidays. December was a nintendo month and that was because of the original Wii. Sure Wii U will have Smash but you're putting to much weight on a single game compare to various games and bundles xbox one is bringing during the holidays. The only time Wii U has a chance against xbox one is after the holiday when everything get stabilized.
Edit: I learned this from ps3/360 era to realize how important the US is during christmas. PS3 sold better 10 out of 12 months just to almost be erased by november and december just because 360 was too popular in US.
Sure. Because Holidays. Because Japan.
Last year Wii U had an excellent performance in Japan during the holiday, selling upwards of 100k consoles a week even several weeks after SM3DW world released.
So lets say X1 in a given holiday week sells 250k across NA, Europe and China. Ninty barely scrapes upto 200k across the same regions because of a release of Mario game or something. Add Japan and the X1 is beat.
I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
For one week? Sure. Most probably.
No troll is too much for me to handle. I rehabilitate trolls, I train people. I am the Troll Whisperer.
I think XB1 will generally hold the lead. It's possible during the quiet season 2015, if Wii U gets a major title and XB1 has nothing then WAii U > XB1.
I don't really expect it for 2014. XB1 is handily ahead in October, and November will be a huge month for XB1 with Sunset, Halo MCC, COD, AC:U, FC4, Dragon Age.

You want bet? Withouth premium for the winner... only a bet between user.
If XBOX ONE on December 2014 sell more than Wii U you win, if not, i win.
On the launch week of Smash, like with MK8. After that no, but then the weeks after MK8 have yet to adjusted, so..
