Forums - Gaming - Why Ether One is PS4 exclusive

Yeah I understand that but imo it's bad PR. Just say that Sony contacted you and offered you a nice platform and support for your game while MS stayed silent. Why do they have to put their allegiance foward is beyond me. They act like they're not open to expand their vision.

Anyway I'm not a dev, I would never say that kind of thing though.

First time I hear about this game. Cool.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

Changed the title.

Don't flamebait, kitler.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

So there was no money-hating?

Sony doing well with reaching out to developers and trying to get more games on their system. Here's to seeing that continue!

They're making games for their gamers and right most of the gamers of next gen consoles own a ps4

I'm pretty sure "excited" is developer speak for "money".

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I wish all consoles would hold a higher standard on what they allow on their systems in terms of indies. Let them prove their appeal on Steam, and then after establishing brand recognition let them develop for consoles or console specific.
My fear is that the PSN Store is going to look like the iOS store. How many sub par/me too games will we have to wade through to find the gems. Wasn't this the problem Nintendo had with the Wii? The huge amount of shovelware that came out, causing even casuals to be turned off eventually.

If Sony dosen't moneyhat, it's "moneyhatting"?

Not really asking, because just like you've mentioned earlier. I just came in here to laugh at you.
The game does look good though.

You are absolutely right.  As it stands, we have no proof of any moneyhatting.  Bigger install base, ease of developement, and a company pursuing you probably with free developlment kits is more than enough.  As far as we know there is no exclusive contract for cach or moneyhatting was involved.

People don't care about that, the higher the number the better right?

"none of the team are XBOX players"

Best reason doesn't exist.
