I honestly think if digital sales were added, it would go far beyond "only" 60M. Halo 3, Reach, ODST, Wars, Halo 4... That is very likely more than just 3M, digital wise.

Maybe they were only talking about physical copies.

The last time we had official numbers for halo 4 was when ms announced the sales of the series had gone from 46 million at launch of h4 to 50 million a few months after. Now ms says the series is at 60 million. So since halo 4 released 14 million halo games have been sold. Obviously not all that is from halo 4 but sure more than what vgchartz has(9.12m). It's probably about 11 million.

Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.

Its not Halo 4 thats ''undertracked'' but Halo 3. Halo 4 online numbers have been very poor for a 10million seller.

Its Halo 3 that hasn't been updated for a while. It must be on 13-14 Million copies by now, but VGC still has it at 11.9.

Remember, old(ish) 360 have not been tracked properly by Vgchartz.
