I hate when developers sacrifice resolution for a solid 30 fps.
Look at Sleeping Dogs Remasterd and The Evil Within. Those games got frame dips up the ass because those developers its 1080p or GTFO.

I never thought it was forced parity. Frankly the only thing that bothers me isn't the parity (idgaf), but it's these bullshit excuses.
Apart from me hating them a lot, I really cannot get them as well. They keep on saying negative stuff for themselves, then create lots of online drama and then they defend themselves with mocking the consoles. Is that all essential? Just shut up and make games.
So now, after the whole WiiU fiasco, it is PS4's turn. Getting my popcorn ready.
So disappointed in them. NEVER buying a game from them till it gets under 20 dollars and still unsure if I buy anything from them again.
So they are using cpu to process graphics and for ps4 to be maxxed out but having the same res/fps means they optmized 50% better on X1, x1 have secret sauce or he is full of shit? Hard to decide. And the no holding back of the other pr? they need to decide what "truth" they want to push.

I can agree with you on that. I defended MS during the whole "Assassin's Creed Parity" debacle and I'll admit, "debates and stuff" sounds like they're hiding something. They should just come out and say what needs to be said and stand up to the fanboys.

I'd say that more due to the developer and their respective engine/s they are using for their game.
Other devs games handle 1080p and stable 30/60 fps just fine.
Sorry, i just dont believe you.
Even if that was the case, not only does it make little sense as you cant spin something that is already out of the bag.
PS4 fault? Nah... i'm more inclined to believe that its incompetent developers.
So, my first thought is, explain PC being capped at 30fps.
