Why not add that extra power? Beside it having a stronger (watever it is) makes it work much much faster in loading times/etc. It has extra buttons as well so with that if any game is needed to make due to 3ds being a little weak to develop for (Xenoblade Chronicles) they have the new 3ds.

Have you not seen comparisons? Its alot better, just think of stability overall is increase.
