Any idea what the price will be? And if there is a story mode? :)

Same price as Season 1 I believe. Microsoft is now selling season one at retail stores now because the game sold so well.  I believe it is in limited quantities though.

I really liked the game so that only makes me happy :). I only hope they make the game bigger with more modes and a story mode a la Soul Calibur on Dreamcast.

They confirmed stage finishers and storyline will be added to s2. The hype hasnt even begun to start.

character individually for $5.  Your choice

Im talking about $20 with all of the bonus features. $60 is a good price point for both season 1and 2.

The price is great really.  extra content youre talking about is KI1 and KI2 which are completely different games......which i also bought ;)  But really, $40 for 16 (possibly 17) characters, story, arcade, survival, otther game modes they havent announced yet, and online is a pretty good deal.  Specially considering the calbre game it is.  The only thing that is screwed up about originally having 8 characters only was it hurt its score.  If it would have originally released with 16 or 24 that we will have on season 3 with story, stage ultras etc, it would have prob got high 80's maybe even a 90 meta.  However it was highly successful and the people that bought it loves it and many considers it to be the best fighting game in years thanks to each character playing so much differently with great mechanics and visuals.  Critics def got it wrong.

Oh for you Kim Wu and Tusk fans.  here is a little teaser for you

We have some amazing things planned for Kim Wu and Tusk - they'll be worth the wait. =)

Looks really good.

That is fantastic news! I also agree with the pricepoint, they should focus on getting as many people aspossible into the franschise and having a 20$ entrypoint would be good for that.

This series could really build a new cult following given some time :).

The only problem increasing the amount of players to KI is he barrier of entry is really high. Its just not fair to newbs.  If they go online they will get murdered on a level of galactic proportions.

Why not? You can choose the range of player rank you want to play against. Also, single player is enough to get your skills up for multiplayer.

That is true, but how long will they stay there. The game takes a pretty big investment but its worth it if you're willing to give it your all. If a newb dares to go ranked they'll regret it 9 times out of ten. I'm willing to bet most newbs dont even finish Dojo.

If you go into the ranked playlist you only play against people in your rank range. (within 1 rank below or above) You're not playing rank 18s as a rank 1

Nice. Best fighting game out there.
