OMG stop misquoting the man, he meant to say the PS4 sold 250k more than the X1 but if you multiply the X1 numbers by 2 (for whatever reason) it won the month. Can a mod please close this thread it's clearly an attempt at ridicu... rid.... at making patcher look bad.

I don't hold this site's numbers as gospel by any stretch, but for Pachter to be right then vgcharts would have to be spectacularly off in its tracking for September. Usually I don't find Pachter to be that annoying compared to most video game enthusiasts--his market analysis is usually pretty good, his somewhat sensationalist opinions are what most tend to take offense with and he certainly does that on purpose to some extent to get more attention--but in this case I have no idea what he is basing this prediction on. The month may well be closer than indicated but the chances xbone sold better than ps4 in the US for September are pretty much zero, hell they're outright zero.

 Not saying you  don't have a life just would totally be ironic. lOL 

this is very not likely, I'm a XBox fan but I highly doubt he is right. Maybe we might see some winning weeks but who knows, either way sales are not as bad as everyone likes to make them out to be. A bad start but I think MS has got some great games and this is the reason to game, for the games.

Can all agree not to bring up this hack anymore? Hes a parody of himself. He the running gag. I dont follow him well enough to say he EVER gets predictions right, but everyone knows him cause of his rubbish predictions.

So September has one more week and the launch of the Destiny bundle which Amazon has as the 6th best seller for September.   Sony also released a press statment saying "In fact, last week was our single biggest PS4 hardware sales week since Christmas 2013!"  For the 250k numbers to be true, the PS4 averages out to nearly the same units/day ratio.  Did the PS4 not sell any units for a couple of weeks?  This is also during a traditionally bigger month as far as a unit/day ratio is concerned.  

That will be interesting if true.

No other Xbox One or PS4 console/bundles in the top 100, meanwhile PSVita Borderlands 2 bundle is at 85
