So.. REAL x360 exclusives for 2008 are:

Culdcept Saga-February 5th 2008
Fable 2-Q3 2008 - i would try(or possible on pc)
Gears of War 2-November 2008 - i would try(or possible on pc)
Guilty Gear 2: Overture-Q3 2008
Halo Wars-TBA 2008 - i would try(or possible on pc)
House of the Dead 4-TBA 2008
Kingdome Under Fire: Circle of Doom-January 8th 2008
Lost Odyssey-February 12th 2008 - i would try
Mobile Ops: The One Year War-TBA 2008
Ninja Gaiden II-June 3rd 2008 - i would try
Oneechanbara Vortex-TBA 2008
Operation: Darkness-Q3 2008
Spectral Diario-TBA 2008
Spectral Force 3: Innocent Rage-March 25th 2008
Tales of Vesperia-TBA 2008 - i would try(or play later on ps3)
Too Human-May 6th 2008 - i would try(or possible on pc)

So, 3 games for me, which probaly will stay as x360 exclusives and i would like to play them.
And 8 games, if they won`t be ported.
8 games is pretty enough to justify x360, 3 games probably not.

So lets see... The xbox benifits from going multiplat on these games and thus gets a variety of pc/console games whilst the PS3 does not. I would perfer the former not the latter. The great strength of the Xbox360! Glad you found it!

Lottsa "TBA" to be a 2008 release. Well anyway, couple of those might be sleeper hits. So I say why not. Buy em if it's good.

SO MUCH CRAP........

Also Tales of Vesperia is not an exclusive; the PS3 version will come but later.

Actually this is not confirmed. It is about as certain as MGS4 on Xbox 360:)

I don't seem to recall Kojima ever saying, "But this doesn't mean we're not going to work on 360 or other hardware-just that MGS4 is coming to the ps3 first."

However, the director of ToV DID say, "But this doesn't mean we're not going to work on PS3 or other hardware-just that Tales is coming to the 360 first."

Still, it's coming out in Japan later this year, and likely in very early 2009 in the West. They'd probably have to think of a PS3 version 6 months after the game is released. This means if they do it it could come in 2009 and maybe even 2010. This list is for 2008 so I think "exclusive" is valid.

Also, ToV is the best 360 game coming out this year by a longshot.

Speaking of which... Same with Eternal Sonata but I think I'm regreting things now. I've hold on to my money for too long. Hopefully It's out before 2008 ends.

Nice list, but "Crash Time-TBA 2008" is already available in Germany

The remainder of 2008 looks like a good year for Microsoft and their shiny Xbox. I think that banjo three could be a potential return to form for the once great RARE, I will certainly check that game out.

What you have to bear in mind though is that the 360 need games in order to differentiate itself from the PS3 or it will continue to lose ground. This list is what could potentially pull this off.

It is a shame that the japanese market is not one the 360 aoppeals too though, otherwise this list would be twice as long.

Besides GTA IV and Gears of War 2 there are no console selling titles out for the 360 in 2008.

I think you left out - Left 4 dead, made by valve means a good chance its an AAA title anyways. Oh yea and theres always the possibility of Xmote controls on Star Wars - Force Unleashed.

Besides the whole idea of - "Console selling titles" is kinda silly, all good games help to improve the value of a console. They all help!

Yeah...360 needs system seller like Grand Turisomo Prologue...lol.  I think this list provide ALOT of catalyst for anyone to consider the 360, if they are limited on $$$ to spend on gaming....period!  At this point, the major thing to sell system (in the current financial downturn in the US) is pricing and value for those limited consumer $$$.  Microsoft hasn't lowered prices in the US because they AREN'T losing money on every console, and the system are still selling well...tracking better than last year, btw.  I think a price cut is coming this late spring/summer ofr the US, and another one for the holiday season.

I wouldn't consider NG2 a system seller in the slightest. It is a similar style game to DMC, but not as popular. Remember the boost the PS3 and 360 got from DMC4? Pretty much nothing, apart from a small PS3 boost in Japan. NG2 will sell well to people who already own a 360, because it is likely to be AAA. But it is way to hardcore to sell systems.

It is a very long time since the last banjo game, plus it has changed console. It pretty much makes it a new IP (apart from the hardcore Banjo fans). Unless it is as good as the last two Banjo games, I don't see it moving many consoles. Given Rare's recent performance, it is very unlikely to be as good as the other two (I hope I am wrong though). Also Platformers has become a niche genre. Just think how few platformers have come out this gen. Ratchet, SMG, Kameo... Although this could work in Banjo's favour, it indicates to me that Platformers isn't the important genre it once was (sadly).

Fable 2 is definetly a system seller, no question about that, although I think you in particular are overestimating it :P. As long as they don't announce a PC version before it comes out for 360, it will sell systems.
