Never played a Platinum game???

It is within your power to fix that right now! There is still time to squeeze this in before Bayonetta is released! Don't waste another second, it has to be this way!

I've only played the demos of both, but from this, Bayonetta 2 is so far ahead of Wonderful 101 it's not even funny.

Better controls, better combat, better graphics, better pacing...

W101 felt like the makings of a 6/10 game, Bayo 2 more like a 9/10.

I had this game, and it was alright, not my bread and butter though. I guess I can say I have played it though.

I can say that The Wonderful 101 did have a slow start, but once it got going it was incredibly fun. I thought action wise it had a very good pace though, but that was just my experience. I also appreciated the excellent use of the gamepad.

The Wonderful 101 is a fantastic game...
But Bayonetta is the best action ever Sorry wonder red. xD

I would definitely be more inclined to agree with this. I thought W101 was a LOT better than a 6/10. 7.5 is fitting due to what it does get wrong (such as the camera angle), but recognises what it gets right.

I have never played Viewtiful Joe, Okami, Bayonetta (yet), or anything else Platinum has created.

DROP EVERYTHING YOU ARE DOING AND ACQUIRE THESE GAMES PRONTO.

You have no freaking idea how talented Platinum is yet, and only once you experience the glory that is Okami will your eyes be opened. I love Viewtiful Joe as well, but someone who just now plays it after the other P* games may not see the awesomeness of it. But if you enjoy Platinum games in general, you won't be disappointed.

The only P* game I've played that didn't engross me was Madworld. It's not "bad," it just relies on a horrible concept (how much blood can you spill and audacious things can you do in a set amount of time) that gets old fast, and even though it's a short game, it's still so repetitive that you find little reason to go back right away. I might appreciate it more on another run.

The Wonderful 101 probably would have been  better off without a demo. It's the kind of game that you really have to spend a bit of time at to get comfortable with, and more time to get good at. But once you do, that's where the real fun begins. :)

How far did you get?
