Gotta be honest, the game looks pretty meh based on that footage. Well, the new lightsaber fight content at least. The rest of it is just a compilation of the other Rogue Squadron games, which are about as far from 'meh' as games can get.

Factor 5, Shin'en... Germans geeks pushing Nintendo hardware like no other

This. Or Kickstarter. Or the dark side of the internet. Anything please!!!
Carpe diem!
Well, that sucks.
It looks awesome. Looking at that trailer I feel a sudden rush at the sound of the music in the menu. Why couldn't this have been released? Is the world this cruel? What's worse, now with EA pulling the strings all hope is lost for us to ever get another good Star Wars game. Why Disney? Of all publishers why did you have to give it to EA
?

Kind of agree actually. The first part of the video looked all sorts of awesome (at least as someone who hasn't played the previous Rogue Squadron games but was interested in them) but then it got onto motion-controlled lightsaber fights and motion controlled driving a vehicle through a forest and I wasn't as interested.

Yeah the Rogue games always did falter whenever they left the cockpit.

I don't care! Just take my money! ;)
Carpe diem!
I think it looks outstanding. Such a sin. The Starwars game everyone dreamed of for Wii that never happened.

The vehicle section in the forest most likely would have supported regular controls. They mentioned supporting every possible control scheme the Wii could offer, and that video was probably just meant to show off how you could use motion controls.
The lightsaber fights probably would have only supported motion controls, though. And... eh. They don't look great, but it might have been an amusing 'extra' mode, decent for a few rounds against friends and then back to the main attraction. It at least looks better than Star Wars Kinect.
