Give me another Metroid FPA game or nothing!!!

3d 3rd person. For as many things as otherm got wrong, that was one thing that felt right. It's a shame people tend to ignore the good that was in otherm.

I'd love for Nintendo to take another stab at 3rd person 3D Metroid, with a fully functional control system and a non-insipid storyline, simply because I think there's more room for innovation there. Sadly, with Other M being...the way it was...3rd person 3Dtroid will probably never get another chance.

So I guess if I'm picking between a first person or a 2D Metroid, I'll go with 2D. Don't get me wrong, I loved the Prime Trilogy, but I feel like a limit has been reached in terms of expanding creatively for first person Metroid games. Meanwhile, we haven't had a completely original 2D game in 12 years...seems like there'd be more room for innovation there.

Get out of this thread...right now.  Hahahahahah.  Seriosuly, though...you can't like Metroid and not like the morph ball. At that point you just want a sci-fi fps or adventure game, which is fine...but it definitely isn't Metroid.
