Cue shitstorm

For future reference "queue" is the one you want. The one you referred to is mostly about pool. :P

Other than that, I agree with your statement :P

Grab your umbrellas should you get shit covered!

I wasn't sure, so I googled it before I made that comment and that gave me the spelling I used.

"cue (plural cues)

An action or event that is a signal for somebody to do something."

http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/cue

or here

http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/cue

I only know queue as a word for a line of people waiting for something.

Maybe you made a mistake.

I've only ever referred to cue as in a pool cue. Considering a queue is the same thing. Must be one of those meanings with multiple words :P

Yeah, why not 24FPS then? How dumb do the Ubisoft people seem nowadays?

"and it doesn’t look like the real thing" - Uhm, YES, YES IT DOES! The only reason The Hobbit felt "weird" was because you are used to 24FPS in movies.

Not really. The faster the FPS. The more obious it feels like a studio set. We've all watched 60FPS broadcasts before. News, soap operas, emmy's, parades, that live broadcast of ER, sports games, Doctor Who's deleted footage, the spam pop ups on TV shows, are all that.

Exactly. The studio set is the real thing. Now, do games take place in studio sets or are the rendered with graphics?

No one likes to be reminded they're watching fake material on a set. Or they wouldn't bother with visual effects. Gamers want FPS because lowering the fps hinders a lot of peoples gameplay. If we were not active with games, no one would care.

Make teh PC version 30fps for teh lulz.

The gimped the PC version of Watchdogs for the sake of cross gen consoles. The new Assassins Creed is a next gen game. There is no excuse for this.

Watchdogs is pretty much gimped on PS4 and X1. It is a gimped game. Even on PC it looks worse than GTA V did on PS3. Actually, GTA V on PS4/X1/PC will beat WD visuals hands down even as a last gen port.

WD wasn't gimped for consoles. Just look at inFamous SS, it looks way better and is open world too and has a better framerate and resolution. WD was just a mess in a technical standpoint (still is a good game).

lol thats why all this games feels more like 7 gen games not real curent gen,

34 years playing games.

#thanksconsoles

I don't care about any of this. Please just make finished and fun games. The original Castlevania is miles better than Lords of Shadow series. We want fun games. Not 1080p 2 million FPS singleplayer DLC Super HD redux remaster.

"Doesn't look like the real thing"

I didn't know real life ran at a cinematic frame rate, wonder what dimension these guys live in.....

I too think 60 fps is important, but you have to realize that this requires twice the graphics horsepower. To compare, going from 720p to 1080p is about a 40%-50% performance hit. Getting the same game to run at a constant 60 fps would forse developers to go with sub 720p resolution
