The gimped the PC version of Watchdogs for the sake of cross gen consoles. The new Assassins Creed is a next gen game. There is no excuse for this.

Watchdogs is pretty much gimped on PS4 and X1. It is a gimped game. Even on PC it looks worse than GTA V did on PS3. Actually, GTA V on PS4/X1/PC will beat WD visuals hands down even as a last gen port.

WD wasn't gimped for consoles. Just look at inFamous SS, it looks way better and is open world too and has a better framerate and resolution. WD was just a mess in a technical standpoint (still is a good game).
