Obviously something boosted the PS4 sales and it's clearly the Destiny bundle, but we'll never know how many of those bundles it sold so we can't really judge what the true 'sold though' number of Destiny is on the PS4. However, we do know that MS were giving copies of Destiny away.

Maybe if patcher spent less time playing shitty browser based pay2win "strategy" games and more time, i don't know looking around and doing his job then maybe he wouldn't be so wrong all the time. Then again he has such a talent for being wrong you can actually find success in doing the opposite of what he predicts.
