I saw this episode already and found the Publisher's actions just baffling. Excluding critics so just extreme praise of a game can be let trough their filters? Really? The shadiness of this deal would really pushes me to tell them they should put their game where the sun don't shine. No matter how great the game is (a fact which has has been acknowleged by man REAL critics), I'm not going to support such shitty practices. So goodbye Shadows of Mordor, maybe next time.

Its more sad that, and lets face it its the truth, we let that fat nerd kid from class become a youtube celebrity.. Why? Why in the world did these people gain such a status? Why in the world do these people have more view then people buying the games? Let them be corrupted and fall..

It's basically about the dodgy youtube restrictions they have. They requested everyone that got pre release code of the game provided positive sponsorship of it. Also in the contract they wanted reviewers to try to persuade customers to buy the game (so, not really a review) and had requirements for the amount of coverage they had to provide. As well as demanding final approval on all video content.

Yeah i think i saw angry joe talking about that when asked about SoM review(the fact that he can't use footage and stuff) or maybe was someone ask him about it idk.Anyway,thanks for tl;dw it! ;)
