Carl took a little moderation vacation for a bit. He's back now, so it'll be up in the not-so-distant future. ^_^

Didn't realize that he's the only one that does it. It's kinda like a monthly newspaper for me. haha

Barozi started it, and then I continued it for a year or so. Carl's on it now, but I will say that it takes a lot of time and effort to get it done.

To be honest, I'm mulling over just axing it entirely. Many see it as salt in the wound and it really doesn't provide that much transparency, when folks can already see how and why each banned user is banned.

Well, I can look at a user's profile while they are banned and I can see why they were banned but after they are out of jail, the "reason" disappears. Also it's very easy to not notice if someone is banned since a lot of users take mini-vacations. It does help with transparency in a broad sense with being able to see what mods do the most moderation during a month and what users are bringing down the ban hammer the most.  Especially since we can't see other users' mod history.

I wouldnt mind that.

Actually, I have a couple of ideas I need to run by you heads.

The real reason is that you want to sweep a couple of March bans under the rug. Just omit them from the ban report, problem solved.

You know too much.

There should be some sort of court where people can defend themselves against "wrongful" bans. Mods judge whether or not he/she is talking shit and deserves the ban, rather than being automatically signed out without warning, then having a bunch of smart arses commenting on your page with no way of telling them to eat shit.

If they don't show for court then they also get banned.

I've been banned twice, deserved one, and was horribly misunderstood in the other. I went five whole days without spreading the teachings of L. Ron Jeremy on this site, and frankly, that's outrageous.

Was I the deserved ban, or the horribly misunderstood one!

If the latter, your complaint is unfounded, as you were not banned for any longer than 4 and a half days!

I have no problem to downgrade you to tier 4.

I do not know what you're referring too, but can only assume there are at least 30 tiers.

Actually, that wouldn't be a bad idea. That way I could downgrade you much more often and eventually make a thread to tell the world that starcraft has been downgraded to junk status, then watch people panic because they fear the end of Blizzard.

Careful, they might Zerg-rush the NASDAQ.
