Its no real surprise you guys question so many things, though it wasnt aimed at you and was more of a statement I felt I had to make.

Theres a real big problem with this forum and I dont think I can do any more to help when that problem just doesnt seem to get better. I need to take some time away from here, clear my head and come back when things have (hopefully) changed for the better. 

Really? I don't think things are that bad at the moment, perhaps because I don't see everything going on from the perspective of the mods.

My post was just out of curiosity FYI, I don't have beef with Snes or wanna see him perma'd particularly.

Maybe mods should get annual leave where their mod priviliges get revoked for a week :P

The report on the death of the mod team is greatly exaggerated. ^_~

I'm really proud of the way my team has been working together as of late to come to decisions and try to find a firm but fair judgment on a plethora of issues. We may not always get it right, but we always try to come together to make decisions that we alone couldn't make.

I really do mean that, I appreciate all the work, time, and effort you guys put into VGChartz.

Although a mod sabbatical might not be a bad idea.

Can vgchartz have an annual purge where all rules go out the window for a day except for say posting porn, racism and homophobia? Oh and alts can come back or permabanned users?

Much like the movies, that is just a terrible idea!

Due to the recent death of NintendoGamer, I think we should should start a memorial page on the forum for all the users known to have died. Include their profile pic, username, date of registering, and date of birth-date of death. If they're an adult, and specify before hand, or their family allows so afterwards more information could be included on the memorial page. I think that's a good way to honor their contributions to the community.
