Hoping for 80+ metascores! The game looks sickening, but I feel that it will get points docked for not having that weather system in place yet.

Surely this won't get points 'docked' for the weather system not yet being in place?

Also, why do some people expect low 70s? What has this studio ever done to make anyone doubt their competence?

As gorgeous as the game looks (solely reason I'll be buying it) I just cannot see it getting more than 80 on Metacritic.

What;s worse I have an stubborn feeling that this game will be the Ryse of racing.... Rycing? ok I leave now.

80* metascores I believe.

Just 2 hours now until reviews drop

I'm expecting an average score of 79% but hopping for more. There are a lot of details that need to be appreciated.

Probably going to score in the mid 70s.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

general reviews will be 8.0 +
I don't belive games like this should score higher.

fanboys reviews however will be sub 5's and few 10's

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

Purists might like it for no nonsense driving without bells and whistles.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

A couple of 10s, a few 9s, a lot of 8s and a handful of stupid scores from sites that just like to mess with Metacritic. If I had to put a numerical value on the responses from the hundreds of Gaf members that have actually bought and played the game, I'd say 9.5/10.

My take from them:

Looks absolutely stunning

The lighting is incredible

The lighting makes every race feel different

The sense of speed is electrifying

It feels like PGR

The handling is impeccable

There's always lots of things to do in Driveclub.

The PS5 Exists.

I hope that it will get >80 on metacritic, because I think that's an important milestone to improve sales (you can e.g. put it on the back of the box); but I guess it will only be in the 75-80 range at the end.

I personally don't much care for reviews about sims/simcades because there are only few things that really matter to me in this kind of games: amount of different cars (seems to be OK for this game after some updates), amount of tracks (there are enough tracks for me and I actually like that the game isn't open world), graphics and car sounds (we don't need to talk about those I think) and most importantly how the car handling works (I don't like it being too arcady).
All the other stuff isn't really important to me. I don't care for the presentation, I hate "stories" in racing games (even that stuff in FH2 really annoys me) and I don't mind racing games lacking in variety in the actual events. I just like driving around nice looking tracks.
