My god the entitlement is strong with this one. Go take a look at some of the Dreamcast games that were also released on ps1. Dreamcast owners were often just thankful that the game got a release.

I think there was another reason for the lack of effort with ports there, the 100million to less than 10million user base. That doesn't exist in this case, quite the opposite.
This is hilarious tho, if Ubi-Soft tried their hardest they couldn't get this amount of publicity from gamers so fast.
@ the people who are suggesting that money changed hands from MS to encourage this, keep in mind it's obviously not great if there is someone waving around some money in the air but if such a situation did happen it would be on Ubisoft for taking such a payment for it, doesn't matter who the customer is.... someone selling themselves is still the one who should be ashamed.
Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive
Good, Ubisooft deserves to suffer for their shitty business model. Hopefully other publishers will see this reaction and develop games based on the strengths of the consoles.

I'm kinda wondering about that myself. Maybe the guy who put it out there this info didn't really like the practise (Ubisoft was probably just going to remain silent about it), so he just blurted it out in a nonchalant manner, which he knows after the #DealWithIt fiasco would cause a shitstorm. That's the conspiracy theory I'm going with, anyway. |
I was right, IGN is over at 10,000 responses past midnight (over 12,000 now). Its 3 AM over here. LMAO the gifs and madness is insane. Ubisoft has a way with women....errrr...I mean gamers. ;)

In all honesty, the only mistake was talking about it. Had they not said anything, no one would have known the difference and people would have been happy with their game. Now, however, it's IMPOSSIBLE to enjoy it, knowing that it could possibly have looked very slightly better! Basically, they underestimated how whiney the gaming commmunity can be. |
Idiocy itself.
You'd have to be on the cold side of mars to be so disconnected with your audience.
