I'm kinda wondering about that myself.  Maybe the guy who put it out there this info didn't really like the practise (Ubisoft was probably just going to remain silent about it), so he just blurted it out in a nonchalant manner, which he knows after the #DealWithIt fiasco would cause a shitstorm.  That's the conspiracy theory I'm going with, anyway. 

I was right, IGN is over at 10,000 responses past midnight (over 12,000 now). Its 3 AM over here. LMAO the gifs and madness is insane. Ubisoft has a way with women....errrr...I mean gamers. ;)
