Because 15 is just an updated 14 with updated kits and teams, which is an updated 13 with updated kits and teams, which is an updated 12 with updated kits and teams, which is an updated 11 with updated kits and teams, which is an updated 10 with updated kits and teams etc. etc. etc.

The same for Vita, people should boycott those stupid port

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Because it's EA, and because I hope EA bellies up one of these days

I get EA hates the Wii U but why would you release a game on a console practically dead and not on a console that's partially alive and probably will shoot up very soon???

So they can claim that WiiU is a weak system.

It is a bussiness decision (that I really hate). FIFA games are very popular on Europe and Latin America, in the first zone the Wii U is not very popular and in the second one many have not moved to the new generation. So taking into account the install base and effort required for the ports, it is better for them to generate a Wii port, marking it as a "Legacy Edition" which is actually just a rooster update and charge 40 U$ for it (on Wii).

They could do a Legacy Edition for the Wii U and they would have to offer at least online play, but it will be more expensive to create and maintain, and the sales would not be great as the current Wii U owner is very picky on their games.

More money to be made with the Wii version than with the Wii U version would be my guess.

Reaaaaaaally easy to develop, reaaaaaaaaally easy money. FIFA 14 on the Wii sold over 300,000 units.
