Yeah it's bizarre, especially since the Wii version is the "legacy edition" which changes nothing but some ratings and rosters. They could have easily done that on Wii U as well.

Because a Wii U port would cost too much and the Wii version is easy money. Also Wii U install base is too low for developers to dedicate manpower to it.

to much effort to put a 60 dollar PATCH for FIFA 14 on WiiU.

IF EA cannot make $1m profit per $1 spent they dont even try.

Smart businesses are supposed to be knowledgeable enough to determine which of those 2 numbers represent active users.

No one at EA gives a shit about the Wii U.

And the sad thing is that if you go to the EA website, they got it figured that the Wii and Wii U are the same console.

They've also made no attempt to sell games on the eShop for a competitive price. Need for Speed, FIFA 13, and Madden 13 are all still $60

It cost less to port on wii then wii u with no big difference in sale numbers,EA should stop making Fifa on Vita too

The Wii version is just the legacy edition. If they made a WiiU version people would expect it to be the standard edition like on the PS3/360, which would require more work than they likely think the WiiU is worth.

Because 15 is just an updated 14 with updated kits and teams, which is an updated 13 with updated kits and teams, which is an updated 12 with updated kits and teams, which is an updated 11 with updated kits and teams, which is an updated 10 with updated kits and teams etc. etc. etc.
