Love CE, such a classic. Too much backtracking though.

I didn't really mind the backtracking. My issue with it was how repetitive the environments were. Some buildings seemed to go on forever, but almost every single room looked the same. Really makes you appreciate how much work went into the environments of later Halo games

THIS!!!! This right here was my biggest issue, I thought some of the locations were the exact same thing and it felt like that throughout a lot of the levels.

My Halo cheevos in all installments are so bad xD
I think Halo 3 I got like 40G :(
I'm shooting for at least 1,000/4,000 for the MCC come this Fall. Hopefully will have time to play them with all the other releases.

Well what do you expect when you only play on easy? :P Not sure how you didn't get some of them though.

Try to get the full 4k :) We'd see how hard that will be soon.

40G in Halo 3? That would mean you didn't even beat the campaign, right?

Edit: Yeah because beating the story on normal gives you a 125 G achievement alone. Slade you're the definition of noob JK bud, always the MCC.

What a strange resolution for Halo 2. Well its technically 1080p.

Reminds me of the Killzone:SF MP situation but that was a considerably lower horizontal resolution and still had significant frame dips.

Well I hope the 60 fps in Halo:MCC is virtually locked. That's more important than 1080p in a shooter.

Correction, they didn't get 1080p in a Halo 2 Remaster with an engine of the original game running in the background... while achieving 60 fps.

Its also worth pointing out early 360 games didn't bode well for the future of that platform. Quake 4 and CoD2 ran like shit. Mass Effect was a choppy mess with jarring texture pop up.  Halo 3 was sub 720p. Yet developers some how kept raising the bar over the years.
