You want it to be like that right? Wouldnt be a "war" without that thinking. There are a lot of people who don't mind if their are less shadows or foliage or whatever. I did not start playing games to start counting pixels and whatnot. I play to have fun.

That's fair enough and I agree with you to a certain extent. The XB1 will have many great games and I'm sure you and many others will enjoy it over the coming years. I support Sony for the ammount of support they give their platforms, the extra power is just a bonus as far as I'm concerned. I enjoyed the inferior versions of last gen games on the PS3.

That's great. I've actually never said anything bad about the PS3 or 4 even though I don't own either. I respect that they have good to great games also. No one will be bored in my opinion with either console. I wish that the WiiU would get more support from consumers and third parties. Keep the whole industry healthy as possible.

This was off topic buy still.

Thank god I'll get it on PC. They can keep their 30fps v-sync.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

So what happens for people who play Shadow of Mordor on Xbox One with Kinect plugged in? Does the framerate drop below 30fps? Or will Kinect be disabled as soon as you run Shadow of Mordor?

As someone else pointed out, perhaps there wasn't any Kinect features and all MS has done is help them free up resources that were sitting unused.

Do you mean that those resources did not come from Kinect? (I'm unsure because of your previous use of the term features vs resources.)
But this can be a general question that can apply to any game that makes use of the freed up Kinect resources to enhance games. What happens when people play those games with Kinect plugged in?

Yes, I acknowledged that my use of 'features; could be have been wrong. Nothing happens when you plug your Kinect in. Once those features are used, the Kinect becomes nothing more than a mic.

As far as I know you always been negative about any game for Xbox I'm not really surprised by your review lol

It's clearly a copied article from Eurogamer, as you can see from the source link at the bottom of the OP.

What happened to the targeted 60fps on the PS4?

They didn't reach that.

BTW for curiosity I watched some EGX videos and it showed judders running over 30fps... seems like they locked for the retail release or patch 1.01.

Should have simply given the option to lock or not lock

Like Sony's first party games

But it really depends on their capacity of providing a pretty good V-sync for the unlocked framerate and being capable of avoiding stuttering. Killzone SF does it perfectly in the campaign (MP is 60fps). inFamous had some stuttering in the launch version, solved in the first patch.
