No, but I will perhaps buy one in the near future. Who knows, I might need it.

Nope. Still got half of my 32G free. I tend to buy physical copies.

Yes 1tb. I like to buy the odd game on sale on the eshop. Some are shockingly big.

500gb Samsung 2.5 Y-axis powered by Wii U..

There was no space for child of light.

Reached the limit a long time ago (thanks W101!)

Use this now:

64g of almost invisible storage.

what's the biggest hard drive the Wii U can handle and do some models make it over heat? I know for a fact some big hard drives caused PS3's to over heat so is it the same for the Wii U??

I'm not sure, but if I remember correctly I read somewhere (I'm sounding so trustworthy right now) that it supports HDDs up to 2TB.

You are correct sir

I bought a 8GB white Wii U (because F* fingerprints all over my gamepad). So the storage was filled up pretty quickly, so I hooked up a 1TB LaCie Porsche HD. No storage problems now.

Btw the 2TB Seagate has been tested and recommended by Nintendo themselves. Its on their official list.

I don't have a Wii U yet, but even when I get on I'll not need an HDD as I'll only have 2/3 games on it.
