Ewwww claudio is another Lars type character .... Anime inspired. Keep that shit away

Nearly every new addition to the roster has been a glorified animu stereo-type after Tekken 5. Lars and Alisa being the most insulting of them all.

This is getting tiring. Go to second post of the thread. Click the link, watch those vids in highest resolution. graphics have increased.

The characters look bigger. It looks interesting, but the gameplay is still the same and unfortunely i got worn out of it with Tekken 3, 4 and 5.

Well, in all honesty if the games visiuls have increased as much as they should have or as people would have expected them to, then we won't even be having this conversation.

As for visuals all i really notice is that cloth physics, better lighting and improved enviroment design and fidelity. The characters themselves don't look that great. At least nowhere near what I would have expected. I also notice that the ground seems to stay broken this time, finally; considering every tekken before it had old cracks on the floor mysteriously disappear when new cracks were made.

I like what I am seeing with the gameplay so far, I am really hoping that they improve, add and/or change a lot of animations cause there are certain animations I am still seeing in this game that has been there since TTT on the PS2 (looking at you death animations no reason why every character should have the same one).

Gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and buy their whole this is only 50% of the IQ. Though I find that hard to believe..... I am disappointed though, this is the first mainline tekken that doesn't look much different design wise from the games before it. Very disappointing.

What you guys expecting? Its a fighter ... Core mechanics are going to remain the same. Expect Street Fighter, King of Fighters, Darkstalkers, MK ... Whatever to follow suit.

"Im disappointed its a Tekken game" is what im getting.

Saw footage and gifs on GAF. So hyped!!!

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

Funny you say that... unless you want them to change fundamental move sets and systems of tekken (thats like saying they should make hadoken a grab in streetfighter instead of a projectile) then I don't know what you are talking about. Cause Tekken 3, 4 (especially), 5 and you didn't add 6 play NOTHING like eachother.

Tekken 3 was everything tekken should be; the perfect tekken. Tekken 4 added position grapples and walls, in addition to wall pushes and/or grabs and different arena elevations, also expanded on just frame moves. Tekken 5 was tekken 3 on steroids, some say this is the best tekken ever made. Tekken 6 added the bound system and rage (or was this in tekken 5). Anyways the bound system practically completely changed the games combo system, for better or for worse.

Im looking forward to this, the new power moves are an interesting add on and so is the reworked bound system. It looks really fresh as far as most fighters go. Plus Kazuyas jacket alone is worth the price of admission.
