After so many delays, critisism and broken hearts next gen AKA Current gen console gaming has started to shine. Sure we have lots of delays and critisms but like all new gens (remember 7th gen start whcih was bad for all console related companies except nintendo who did really well) this gen has finally started. We had destiny, shadow of mordor, upcoming lots of awesome games like super smash, driveclub to masterchief collection ensures there is something for everyone. So why the doom and gloom? Have fun enjoy games.

After getting banned several times I have started to think differently. I am trying to enjoy games rather complaining them. This is why I really liked watch dogs (execpt the story mode) whereas internet said its garbage and unplayable. Sure. I am still a pro-playstation gamer but a little change in point of view can make miracles.

And this fun wont stop in 2014. 2015 will be a beast. Sony, nintendo and microsoft have plenty of games for its fans. And as a bonus there will certainly be a price cut so more people cxan enjoy these games. Have fun and happy gaming to all.

I think that NEXT year will be the first true next gen year in gaming. So far games have been developed with PS360 in mind as well, but hopefully that'll change next year.

You name Destiny and Shadow of Mordor? two games that are also on last gen that make this gen finally started? Isn't that what people complained about? It is very nice to have a collection of old games like MCC coming and Driveclub that was promised as a launch game but overall this gen still feels so slow especially when a game like Little big planet 3 is one of the last big exclusives of the year and also on last gen..

Yeh I will play Gothic 2 for the first time today, haven't played a western RPG since Fallout 3 last summer.

Poor Lords of the Fallen, true new gen game, similar to fan favourite Dark Souls. Doesn't ever get mentioned.

It is definitely getting better, but I think next year is where it really starts. Dying Light, Bloodborne, The Order, Batman, The Witcher all in the first six months. Potentially great games all of which are exclusive to this gen, and there are probably more I have forgotten.

I'm still living on the Dark Times. Given how 2015 is planned out, I'll probably be living on the Dark Times there too :P

Things are picking up real fast. The first year is usually really slow. After my first evar ban on this site I only comment in threads about games and general PC or gaming technology. No company talk, no PR talk, no best/worst talk. Hardware talk in particular is best done elsewhere for the sake of sanity (dedicated sites).
