So how long did it take you to finish the game?  Do I get something for getting 10,000 coins?  Do I need to beat the game with every character to unlock something?  Has your opinion changed of the game since you first played it?  


It's not THAT hard of a game. Getting golds on everything in the FIRST MK, on the other hand....*sigh*.

I think to unlock the gold kart you just need one star in all the cups, I got three in the end so I dunno. I also completed triple stars this Monday, was postponing the boring mirror mode but finally got around to it. Today went through some time trials to try get all the stamps (and the gold wheels)... but there are a few more missing...

Dear god. MK SNES 150cc was so freaking hell. Those karts cheated to no end.

Oh hey way to go! I haven't had time to get back to gaming yet since school started but as soon as I get a chance I'm sure my son and I will try to get trip gold on all cups as well! Really love this game. I can play for hours at a time cuz it's just that fun!

I remember going through the same thing. The frustration was unbearable.

 

Of course, it didn't help finding out later that star ranks didn't exist until the DS version. Nice to see someone managed to overcome this obstacle though.

wanted to do it as well. doesn't have much time and new games are coming up. now i'm playing HW. with Dota 2 it is already time consuming. trying to finish FF XIII too.

Congratulations!

I am also a Mr. Scooty plus azure rollers fan - although I use it with Luigi and the Bowser kite. Second favourite is the same combo but with that loverly Silver Arrow.

I've got 3 stars on the 50 and 100cc and almost there on the 150cc. Haven't even attempted Mirror Mode yet.
