I couldn't care less about a achievement/Trophy system.

Well it's a nice addition, and it's not going to kill Nintendo to implement it.

But it won't help them either so I would rather have them work on other things than this... If they have to implement something (which they kinda have via stamp system), achievements/trophies should be the last thing on their list

I don't personally care about any of these, but I can certainly see why people would want them. Honestly, I really don't care about UI and whatnot...just give me more games to play.

EDIT: Actually, I have spoken in depth about a "Challenge" system as opposed to an achievement system, but I really doubt that any company would be willing to go that route...

EDIT2: Oh, and an Amiibo hub game...

The system has everything i need

On-Screen Notifications, Cross Game Chat, Quick Messaging, and No Region Lock are what I want most.

well, to be fair, I need more games, but the rest would be just a plus

people who couldnt care less about achievements are missing a few major points. Firstly the competitors have it, secondly some people like it, thirdly it creates more revenue for nintendo as achievement whores by more games in an attempt to be the best.

its pretty pointless for nintendo to not have it.

I agree with 1 and 4. Nintendo really really needs a trophy or achievement system.

1. They already have one, and it's completely optional to implement as it's up to the developer

2. The Wii U wouldn't be able to natively stream any games to a network. besides that cost $$$

3.

4. I disabled onscreen notifications because they ruin gameplay. I hate on-screen anything that the OSes do. End of story

5. You don't need an out of game invite system. Go in game, invite. Simple.

Do we really need to homogenise game consoles in this way? What you're asking for here is just a list of features that make me think of Playstation/Xbox. We already have 2 consoles that are near enough the same, we really don't need another.

1) Meh. If Nintendo were to tackle achievements they should do it completely different to everyone else, because honestly I and I think a lot of other people are just fed up with achievements as they stand on other consoles.

2) If you want to stream with a Wii U, you can. Just buy a capture card. If someone is not prepared to make that effort, then they're probably not going to make the effort to make a good stream either, so I don't care to see them.

4) Onscreen notifications are something I just hate. Any immersion you may have in a game is completely ruined by this.

5) Maybe. I think Wii U could do with being less clunky for friend interactions, so this is probably your best point.

It would be more interesting to see features suggested that other consoles don't already have. If I wanted a PS4 or Xbox I would have bought one of those. I bought a Wii U because I didn't want the same stuff the industry has been shoveling out for the last 10 years now.

Also, account not being locked to console would be a big one

And making the wiiU not being region locked would be another

These two features are imho more needed than the entire OP-List.

But to the OPs features:

1. Trophy. Not really needed. Many games already have them. But to be honest I would like the feature. But it's not really needed ...

2. Stream: MK8 has it (kind off) and I never use it ...

4. On Screen notifications. We already have enough Notification options. You can see when a friend is online. And the Gamepad/Main Menu informs you about cheap eshop offers. Don't know what else you want to be informed ...

5. Invitation. I am not a big fan of online games. Maybe you have a point here, maybe not. I can't really judge this point.
