No verbal opinion about the first week sales in the US? At least some people voted in the poll. I'm both surprised about the amount of people who think it will sell more than 200K and the amount of people who think it will sell less than 50K. I only included options below 75K for completeness sake, as it seems more or less fixed that it will sell more in the US than in europe (games usually do). But also 200K seems a lot less likely. Well, vote on and maybe you can comment on your sales prediction.

Well, US numbers are also in. In the US the game did 99K first week. Again better than in Japan. Most people voted 75K-100K, so this result matches the expectations. With these 99K the game should be at 300K worldwide now. What do you think, will it pass 500K over the holidays?

Probably will get 500k by the end of the year but I think it could struggle to get to the 1M mark lifetime that Koei-Tecmo want.

Just got a feeling it'll be front heavy.

As far as I know, the statement was something like, they would love 1 million. But it never seemed realistic. Only one musou game had 1 M last gen, One Piece Pirate Warriors. So one million was never really the question. I think with that many Warriors games Koei have made, this is probably profitable at 100K-200K.

Good for them.

I picked it up and am enjoying it myself. Only other musou games I've played are Dynasty Warriors 2 and Fist of the North Star, I'd say this is the best of the bunch for me.

Fingers crossed the Zelda appeal helps it go on to be one of the better selling musou games.

already exceeded my expectations in Europe and US 1st week sales. if they still advertise it and package it as a bundle. it might reach 500k by the end of the year.

Wow, the sales were adjusted up after NPD. Now it is counted with 129K retail-copies in the first week in the US. That is pretty good. Worldwide it is now above 400K (week ending on 4th October).

Ok, 1 million confirmed...

190,000 first 2 week only in the US, probabily around 350,000 by end of year, and 600,000 lifetime...
Only in the US.
With the Europe and Japan sales, 1 million is sure.

The 190K NPD-figure includes digital. VGC has it at 165K for the two weeks. Also I think your prediction for years end and lifetime US are a bit high. Most games have frontloaded sales and only a few types of games have legs. There is a misconception, that Nintendo-games often leg it out, but that's mostly because Nintendo often makes these types of games. But Warriors games are frontloaded. So I think 250K years end and 400K lifetime are probable US-figures. Add 200K europe and 200K Japan (it looks like that) and let's say 100K ROW, and we have 900K. With digital probably above 1 million. Koei will be OK with these sales.

This game will have some legs, if Nintendo does something later on like maybe a Hyrule Warriors+Link Amiibo the game will more than likely sell 1M LTD

"I think it will be the HDS"-Me in regards to Nintendo's next handheld.
