From Deej over at Bungie.net

Hey, Bungie Community.

I hope you had a nice weekend.

We noticed that you noticed that we already have plans for upcoming content packs in Destiny.

We do! They have activity names (which may or may not change) and we have a really good idea what they're going to contain. They even have placeholder nodes in the Director, as you've already discovered.

But neither of the Expansion Packs we've announced are finished.

People at Bungie are hard at work to complete content for our first post launch pack, "The Dark Below," as I type these words. It will be finished soon. It releases in December. Soon, we'll detail it out for you so you can see exactly what we've been working on.

Thanks for playing. Thanks for the passion. We know you want details. We'll talk more soon.

WTF Bungie. You have the DLC On Dick already and it will be pushed back from November do December? Why if it already exists in the game? lol lol lol

Alright, now I will legitimately admit that THIS IS an issue. The game is running low on content as it is and now you wait 3 months for the expansion? That's terrible and will no doubt kill this games replay value.

They need to add some free areas in the meantime or it will get real ugly. They can't seriously expect me to go through 31 days in October and then the same in November along with however long in December to keep fighting Sepkis Prime again and again and... again. On top of that I found 4 Legendary Engrams yesterday and all were rares... yes, I know it is getting fixed, but it is BS that I couldn't just hold onto them for the next week until the patch hits.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Wasn't the Vault of Glass raid locked out for the first couple weeks too? Maybe the glitched area is just another raid that they haven't unlocked yet.

correct.   also the iron banner is coming soon.  but panties don't just bunch themselves..

I also noticed in the video that OP provided had a lot of locked missions and other stuff that is actually already unlocked. I know I saw several of the missions and strikes that the guy in the video went over had the same names as the missions/strikes that I've played lol.

Of course some of it is unlocked. The glitch shows you everything already in the game and the stuff planned for expansion.

"requirements not yet met" = it's in the game right now
"expansion required" = DLC

Well after watching the video again this is what I found:

The House of Wolves:

It showed 1 strike, 1 raid, a strike playlist, and a daily heroic story.

The Dark Below:

I saw 2 strikes, 1 raid, and a strike playlist.

The Vault of Glass's story for those that didn't understand... spoilers.

Lore: Why we raid the Vault of Glass.

I decided to share it here because it's pretty awesome lore and deserves better than to be hidden. Having story unlocked through work is great and all but what I am sharing here is something your guardians would know prior to entering the vault. This is what should be handed to you as a brief before you'd set out from the tower.

Beneath Venus the Vex have constructed a massive structure that is acting as a meeting point of past, present and future. Their long-term goal is to basically unchain themselves from the constraints of a physical reality and turn themselves into a sort of epistomological computer virus in the very fabric of reality, incorporating the very IDEA of themselves into the fundamental laws of the universe. Because in this space, reality and time are starting to be altered, Oracles and Gorgons are basically quantum supercomputers that calculate reality and utilize a weaponized ontology to determine what is and is not real. This is why a Gorgon can look at you and kill you, because it simply unwrites you from existence. Oracles make changes and revisions to reality, and the Templar/Aetheon processes these calculations into existence.

The relic is the last, dying, desperate act of Kabr, a guardian who managed to send word that this was happening. He basically killed a Gorgon himself and hammered its corpse into a vessel for the Light, turning it into a shield that maintains a small space of stable reality around it. Throughout the raid, the Vex are constantly trying to separate you from it, throwing it into the past or future where it can't be used against them.

As for some stuff you should earn, here is a taster of info your raid could discover in-character while investigating the vault or getting exotic weapons.

All the guns and armor you find in the raid are the remnants of Kabr's failed raid and will give further info about their wielders and the events of the raid itself. In fact, some of the general exotics in the game once belonged to friends of Kabr too. The Super Good Advice machine gun is one such example but comes from the exotic bounties. This was crafted by a hunter named Pahanin who passed Kabr's warning about the Vault from Venus. After witnessing what happened to Kabr he became deathly afraid of being alone; he reckoned that he could only continue existing as long as someone was able to perceive him. So, to ensure that a mind could perceive him at all times he used an AI gun.

Gamers, like myself, who wanted a gripping story and campaign know deep down that Bungie/Activision nerfed this game. I've already stated my sentiments a few times on record. I totally agree with Angry Joe's criticism of Destiny which I already had even before I saw his review. I would not be surprised if they indeed strategically placed DLC on the disc to be unlocked with another $30 to $50 within this next year. It could be Capcom all over again. Not good.....

I'm just going to stay away from Activision from here on out, tbt.

I'd rather give my $60 to a developer and publisher that actually give a damn about their end-product and their consumers.
