Ouch to the X1. Can't say I'm surprired. CoD will likely be similar and (spoiler alert!), the MCC won't really have much of an effect either. MS is in some serious trouble right now (X1 wise).

But Fifa sales weren't bad on Xbox One and we have no hardware numbers...

Nope, FIFA sales for both Xbox consoles are very good

They're not "bad" but after the money MS poured into and how hard they tried to push it, ending up in third isn't exactly a good thing

Well, at the very least it helped halt the PS4 advance for a week. Should go back to normal next week though. Wish we had actual numbers

The PS4 vs Xbox sales are very much proportional to their userbase sizes, so I don't see where the shock is coming from in most people's responses.

If comparing it to Destiny and expecting a similar ratio, the two games are completely different. Fifa is the definition of casual in the UK, Destiny despite having a massive marketing campaign and huge launch is still targeted towards a more core demographic. When talking core gamers you have to acknowledge that a high percentage of XO's early adopters are going to be big fans of Xbox IPs (ala Halo). The decade long relationship they've had with Bungie most likely worked in Destiny's favour in regard to its Xbox sales without a doubt. Its no differently from most japanese games doing vastly better on the playstation verses the xbox.

Will be interesting to see hardware numbers. To be honest I'm surprised the PS4 version outsold the 360 one.

these numbers are now proving what I have been saying.  PS3 owners have jumped sooner.

Based on a game with xbox marketing in a country with a higher 360 install base? As I pointed out to you in another thread, the PS3 sells more software on a weekly basis worldwide just about every week. Cherrypicking examples like this is just dishonest.

Do you remember when Yusuf Mehdi claimed that 360 owners are still more satisfied with their console than PS3 owners?
Seems to be true in the UK.

Or Ps3 owners are more convinced by the PS4, then 360 owners are by the Xbox One.

Honestly if I were a core Xbox Fan, I would play the waiting game too. If you only gonna buy one system per gen, it makes no sense to make any hasty decisions if your favoured brand is in a bit of pickle and your friends may potentially jump ship.

So those PS3 owners who weren't satisfied by there PS3's went out and bought a PS4. Yep, that makes sense.
