The PS4 vs Xbox sales are very much proportional to their userbase sizes, so I don't see where the shock is coming from in most people's responses.
If comparing it to Destiny and expecting a similar ratio, the two games are completely different. Fifa is the definition of casual in the UK, Destiny despite having a massive marketing campaign and huge launch is still targeted towards a more core demographic. When talking core gamers you have to acknowledge that a high percentage of XO's early adopters are going to be big fans of Xbox IPs (ala Halo). The decade long relationship they've had with Bungie most likely worked in Destiny's favour in regard to its Xbox sales without a doubt. Its no differently from most japanese games doing vastly better on the playstation verses the xbox.
Will be interesting to see hardware numbers. To be honest I'm surprised the PS4 version outsold the 360 one.
