Interesting info about the Arab signs.

Though, there is a long history of trade between the Middle East and The Netherlands 

We've also provided living space for refugees from the Iraq/Afghanistan wars, at this moment we're recieving refugees due to the ISIS conflict.

Those people are now in refugee camps, but eventually they will either stay or return to their country of origin, but appearently our language is rather dificult to learn so to prevent unnesecairy accidents from happening, you can find an arabic sign here and there.

Because our government is so providing and some cultural differences between Western and Middle Eastern minds, many first generation refugees don't speak our language really well or not at all.

Not true, there have been a few MK8 ads on various channels, and even some 3DS ads.


My bad which channels btw I did not see them on Veronica, SBS or RTL, while I pretty much watch tv nearly every day. I've seen multiple 3ds PS4 and even an Xbox one add though. I am talking about adds directly from nintendo not a shop which features a nintendo item. But if there where Mario kart direct adds from nintendo on the tv I stand corrected.

 

Yeah, that's the problem. You need to look at the channels that are directed to kids. Mario Kart 8 is advertised for kids, at least here. I watched some commercials on some channels like Nederland 3 (before 19:00) and Disney XD on purpose and I have seen a few Nintendo commercials. You won't be finding a commercial for MK8 on a channel like RTL4.

I also live in the Netherlands and the TV is basically on 24/7 even without anyone watching, never seen (or heard) a MK8 ad.
