I thought that was a great article, shared it on facebook as finally a decent article on the subject, and was instantly hit with responses about how bias it is only showing one side of the story... 

Really, there will be no winners in this, just get out of this toxic subject while you can.


that says it all really. Even if there ever was a good point to start with, it now is exactly like politics. Extremists on both sides and real life threats on both sides. I like how the article also points out moderation within communities will never be transparent. It cant be because bias happens subconciously.

as it is, I intend to steer well clear of any ' movement ' throughout my life. Because extremism will rear its head. As your facebook endeavour shows. We had it this gen with resolutiongate already. From a bias objective.

Thats not true...but you are a month too late for that debate. This isn't about Zoe Quinn anymore, its about the issues that the whole scandal brought up.

I am for the idea of Gamergate, but I don't think its being executed well. Honestly, I don't know if there is a way to execute it well. What did he say that was true in anyway? She didn't sleep with those guys at or for reviews. She only she started to date the guy at Kotaku after they broke up and he never reviewed her game. If you still think she did anything you need to give your head a shake.

I will agree we need to open better lines of commuication in order improve video game press and the industry in general.

We don't know why she slept with them, and their relationship could have resulted in increased publicity. Honestly, the whole situation is a mess, but if you think she is just an innocent party you are as good as crazy. This isn't a thread about Zoe Quinn, so I don't think we should get into this here, but dig a little deeper and you will find a mountain of dirt...

I stopped caring about it awhile ago. I'm just getting tired of hearing about it. Plus, none of the gaming sites I go on are one of those "corrupted" sites they constantly mention, like Kotaku or Polygon, so it makes me care even less.

...but it was confirmed that she slept with Nathan Grayson...by Nathan Grayson.............wut? Logs also show her admitting to cheating in other cases. Where are you getting your facts?

EDIT: I really didn't want to make this about Zoe Quinn...I've stated tons of times that this isn't the time or place. That discussion has already been had, but I'm not just going to sit idly by as someone tries to argue with me. Just know that all of you still stuck on defending her are the ones who keep dragging her through this. Yes, it takes two to tango (so to speak) but I think the fact that her defenders continue to be so vocal, even after most people have moved on says something...I'll leave it up to you to think about what exactly it says...
