I am speaking of PS4 and X1.

Nintendo just needs to release a wii u exclusive youkai watch game and bundle it in japan. Also monster hunter 4 for wii u would help alot.

its been tracking better than last year on a weekly basis for awhile now, it that continues it will be ahead overall by the end of the year.

People are waiting for Smash Bros bundle.

Also......PS4 and X1 hit the market.

X1 has absolutely nothing to do with anything in Japan lol, for several reasons. One being that it only launched 3 weeks ago and two, and more importantly, it has barely even sold 30k so far...

Is it rude to ask why you make sooo many Anti Nintendo threads?

I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed!

Jan - Feb 2013 can really still be considered part of Wii U's launch window. Wii U's launch in Japan wasn't all that bad -- it was the period afterward that defined Wii U as a failure.

I'd recommend breaking this down by quarter.

Q1 2013 would happen to be really healthy for Wii U in Japan following on launch momentum and release of Dragon Quest X and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. Thereafter, practically nothing. Not much to interest the Japanese (or anyone else)

Do a comparison of Q2 Q3 2013 with that of Q2 Q3 2014 and it may show a very different narrative than the one Seece likes to push.

Well, unfortunately for you not the case.

Down yoy end of March, down yoy end of June.

What now?

thats not what he meant at all

end of Q1 2013-227k vs end of Q1 2014-164k, 2013 up by 63k

end of Q2 2013-333k vs end of Q2 2014-287k, 2013 up by 46k

2013 YTD-451k vs 2014 YTD-405k, 2013 up by 46k

so 2013 had a better Q1, 2014 a better Q2 and Q3 so far has been even with one more week left.
